About #1 Fish Market

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Long Beach with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10:30 amβ6:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach #1 Fish Market at (562) 728-6778; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 261 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Long Beach.

Exploitation of less fortunate people in the neighborhood and surrounding communities. The prices of lunch and dinner prices is ridiculous. They take 1 piece of medium size fish and chop 5x with French fries and charge $14.00. I gave 1 stars for hot fries and seasoned fish. But never again. BTW, the drinks you can purchase at Winco for 89 cents; they sell it for $2.50.

Foodwas decent the food do need more seasoning the portions small looks like they took one fillet and cut it into four pieces... tartar sauce was nasty

This fish spot is alright, it donβt taste like Louisiana fish. They donβt put enough seasoning on the fish fry so doesnβt always have a taste to it, plus the Togo boxes they use donβt allow air flow, then they put it in a plastic bag causing your fried fish and fries to get soggy, bread is always hard. I really hope they improve I like βem because they take the EBT but thatβs about it.
